Green Smoothie Recipe

‘m honored to share this easy green smoothie recipe with you today! My husband diligently blends these smoothies for our entire family and I’m thankful that he takes the time to invest in our health everyday.

Quick-n-Easy Green Smoothie Recipe


3 cups Water

3 cups Organic Baby Spinach

4 Bananas

3 cups Mixed Frozen Fruit



1.) Fill blender with 3 cups of water.  Add 3 cups of organic baby spinach and pack it down into the water.  You want a lot of spinach…this is the good stuff.  Don’t worry.  It will still taste good!





2.) Next add 4 peeled bananas.  Then add 3 cups of frozen mixed fruit.We buy ours from Walmart because it’s such a great value (pun intended).  Then blend until smooth.



Depending on your blender, you may need to pulse before high speed blending.  We have a Blendtec blender which I highly recommend if you are going to make this a part of your daily routine.  

For the Blendtec, I run it through a #4 cycle, then blend an additional 20 seconds at speed 1.  Sometimes there are a few random chunks of frozen fruit that get stuck near the top and this makes sure you get them all and it’s nice and smooth.




We just introduced the smoothie to our almost one year old and she seems to enjoy it. Our oldest has been drinking two smoothies a day for about two years. At first she turned her nose up at it, but we kept offering it and now she asks for it! It’s delicious.

In an attempt to live a healthier lifestyle we are making small effective changes in our daily habits to teach the girls about health and wellness.
